KinkBNB allows fetishists to rent dungeons, S&M hangouts and more from fellow sex enthusiasts around the world
Based on Airbnb’s lodging rental model, KinkBNB aims to offer an alternative for those of a fruitier bent. “We offer a marketplace for sex positive people to share their accommodations,” says Ryan Galiotto, KinkBNB co-founder. “While I love the shiny sexy dungeon play spaces we are currently listing, we hope to appeal to any sex positive person with a guest room. It is difficult to travel with one's kink and we hope to ease those difficulties as well and increasing the reach of the sex positive community.”

Users can indicate by checking a box whether or not they are “orgy friendly”, a service Airbnb does not provide. “It started with a friend having her guest room dropped from a popular accommodation share site for being to provocative,” explains Galiotto. Having spotted a gap in the market, Galiotto and co-founder Darren Mckeeman decided to foster relations between the travelling and the kink communities.

In only 7 years, Airbnb has become the second most valuable travel startup (behind Uber), currently weighing in at an eye watering $20 billion, so it’s easy to see the model’s appeal. The travel industry is constantly expanding, forever creating services for niche demographics. GreenHotelWorld is another startup that helps green-minded travellers find the most eco-conscious hotels.
