The Alpha-ville festival, taking place from the 22nd September as part of London Design Week, is a four day festival that will explore the future of digital arts and culture.

The festival's theme is From Digital to Post-Digital, and will feature a series of workshops, screenings, performances and parties that will take place across London, celebrating art, music, architecture, moving image and interactive design. A highlight will be the From Digital to Post-Digital symposium featuring expert speakers such as designer and film-maker Keiichi Matsuda, Google Creative Lab's Tom Uglow and information designer Moritz Stefaner.

The festival is both retrospective and forward-thinking, and will examine how the lines between the physical and digital have become blurred, as well as considering the humanisation of technology and how digital is increasingly being used to facilitate the real world. Protein will certainly be in attendance and we're looking forward to learning and discussing what's next for our society following the digital revolution.
