Billed as a mix of circus, performance, installation and real life camping, Belgium art collective Time Circus have designed the AirHotel: a mobile hotel featuring cocooned rooms floating in trees . The hotel boasts nine treehouse rooms nestled amongst the trees, each with a unique design (from a floating airship through to a mechanical lotus flower).

The whole hotel experience sounds pretty dreamy with their website boasting pleasures such as, 'sizzle in the steam bath in the Wellness machine,' to, 'wake up with the sound of birds singing and enjoy a healthy breakfast.' Then there's the room service provided by aerial hostesses where residents can request unique services from a list - think 'poetic moments' to 'powerful performances' and 'disco parties'.

AirHotel will move between different locations throughout the year. It's first residency is in Norfolk as past of the Norwich and Norfolk Festival from 10th May - 2nd June before moving on to Belgium.

As more of us seek escapes from our busy, digital lives, this project is a great example of how hotels are pushing boundaries to provide unique experiences for their guests. Check it out here.
