Following the success of the Aesop pop-up kiosk in Grand Central New York, the beauty brand has opened a full flagship store in the Nolita district of the city, designed by architect Jeremy Barbour.

Decorated in the sparse, minimal style of other Aesop global stores, it explores unusual construction possibilities using different materials in the design. Copies of the New York Times newspaper are stacked together to create textured wall surfaces, a homage to the brand's affinity with the written word and interest in the history of each city that Aesop sets up shop in. The store also features a wall space where a selection of Criterion films are screened for customers to watch. Have a look for yourself at the new space on 232 Elizabeth Street, Nolita.
