Ace Hotel New York has teamed up with Google and travel website Superfuture to create a travel guide app for its guests. The Ace Hotel New York’s Field Guide app lets guests access travel information and insider knowledge about the city that has been provided by Superfuture. The apps have been loaded on to Google Chromebooks laptops, which have been placed into a specially-designed Ace Hotel slip cases. Good, efficient service has a knack for drawing people back to hotels, and we think this is a great example of how traditional services are adapting to the digital age. We hope to see more hotel brands creating digital concierge services.
