A Box From
Have a set of trinkets from another country sent to your directly door courtesy of this new subscription service that aims to let people explore different cultures.
If you love collecting trinkets and curiosities while travelling, or receiving them as gifts, A Box From is sure to spark your curiosity. The idea, created by worldwide traveller Elin Aram, offers the chance to purchase a curated collection of items from a distant city. Inspiring some excitement back into receiving packages – much like the Not Another Bill or the Svbscription service – A Box From brings stories from far off destinations directly to your doorstep.
The first selection features souvenirs from Seoul, including notepads, tea, noodles and even a collagen face mask. The cultural relevance of each seemingly unrelated item is detailed on her website, with the aim of allowing others to experience Aram’s personal perception of the South Korean capital.
The simple ethos of having charming and thought provoking mementos of another country delivered worldwide has proved popular, with the initial boxes selling out in under an hour.
