German creative studio Urbanscreen has recently unveiled 320° Licht, a massive light installation that transforms a former gas tank into a stunning visual experience.

Geometrical patterns and dazzling ambient sounds bring Gasometer Oberhausen, a 112-meter high structure, to life and turn in into an ethereal virtual space that visitors can explore. Covering a 320 degrees radius and over 16,000 square meters of area, this is one of the biggest indoor projection mapping projects to date. For this technical marvel, Urbanscreen have used 21 projectors that loop a 22 minutes long graphic animation.

320° Licht is part of The Appearance of Beauty, an exhibit that runs through December 30th.
