We’ve wanted our own gallery to showcase the talent we’ve met, worked with or just love for longer than we care to mention...which is one of the reasons we moved into a 3-story warehouse space. After producing pop-up installations for Range Rover in Paris, cooking with DFC at Notting Hill Carnival, and creating many ground breaking productions at Nike's 1948 concept space...we can now bring it all home with Protein’s own, 18 Hewett Street.

Opening its doors for the first time on Wednesday 19th January for "Two Soups And A Honeybun" by Kutmah, 18 Hewett Street is an evolving space that will play host to a plethora of different cast of exhibitions, gigs, forums and workshops as well as a retail space and supper club. Carefully curated to reflect our passions and beliefs, 18 Hewett Street will be a playground for people, brands and concepts that we love and represent.

Curated by our good friends Earnest Endeavours, "Two Soups And A Honeybun" is the debut exhibition from acclaimed visual and music artist Kutmah, a solo show of drawings he completed in 2010 whilst detained in a United States Prison. Come celebrate the launch of the show, and the opening of our new space.

The afterparty will be held at a secret Hoxton location TBA from 9pm-1am. Featuring live will be Kutmah (Brainfeeder), Teebs (Brainfeeder), Jams (Earnest Endeavours), Patchwork Pirates (Earnest Endeavours), Live Screenprinting by the Hit+Run crew and special guests. You’ll be able to pick up “The New Error” Ltd edition Kutmah mixCD for Hit+Run, and“A Heart-Breaking Work of Swagger & G Ness” Ltd edition Jams mix CD for Earnest Endeavours at the party. More detailshere.

See you then.
