12 bit Blues

Vinyl appreciation has been on the rise for a while now. Thanks to factors like sound quality, full-size album art and general nostalgia, 33s and 45s don't seem to be going the way of contemporaries like 8-track, cassette, minidisk, and soon to be CD.
Kid Koala, like most DJs with at least a little talent and history, is a longtime lover of vinyl. He's sharing his appreciation through a new release. "The packaging for the first run of Kid Koala's 12 bit Blues album on CD and 2LP will include a cardboard hand powered record player kit! It also includes a mini flexi disc record that can be played on the kit."
The DIY gramophone certainly won't rattle your walls, but we appreciate Koala's embracing digital downtime.
